In coordination with UNOPS, Kabul Municipality is constructing a subroad in the Pul-e Pajak area, located in the 22nd section of District 14. The project, which began some time ago, has so far reached 50 percent completion.
According to the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management of Kabul Municipality, the road measures 1,250 meters in length and 5 meters in width. It will be constructed to full standards and include the construction of three culverts, a retaining wall, and drainage systems.
The project is expected to be completed and inaugurated before the onset of winter. It is also noteworthy that this initiative has created temporary employment opportunities for several citizens.
