The asphalt work on the first section of the Kabul–Logar Road has made significant progress. After completing the foundational sections, asphalt has been applied to 2,700 meters of the main lane (both first and second layers) and to 7,300 meters of the two secondary lanes (first layer).
The first section of this road extends seven kilometers from Nejat Monument to the Charkh-e Ab area, with a width of 60 meters. The project also includes the construction of a large canal, drainage systems, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, streetlights, and other road components.
Kabul Municipality is committed to completing the project swiftly and to a high standard, aiming to ease traffic congestion and improve transportation for residents of the southern provinces.
Recognized as one of the key infrastructural projects in Kabul’s southern zone, this initiative will not only enhance urban infrastructure but also play a vital role in driving economic growth in the region.
