The asphalting of the third (final) layer on one lane of the left side of the second phase of Khair Khana Kotal Road began last Thursday, adhering to all necessary technical standards. To maintain construction quality, the asphalting process is being carried out only after laboratory testing of the construction materials. The second phase of Khair Khana Kotal Road extends 2,520 meters in length and 60 meters in width across two lanes, running from the upper part of Khair Khana Kotal to Bostan Road. Meanwhile, work is also underway on a 580-meter section of the right lane to prepare it for asphalting. This key transit route, which includes drainage systems, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, and other components of a standard roadway, is planned to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of this year.
