Kabul Mayor, Mawlawi Abdul Rashid, conducted an inspection visit to District 19 as part of Kabul Municipality’s continuous monitoring efforts to assess the district’s operational and service conditions.
During the visit, the Mayor emphasized the importance of providing high-quality urban services, urging municipal employees to perform their duties with full commitment, honesty, and integrity in serving the public.
He cautioned that negligence and delays in official duties would not be tolerated in any department, stressing that the principle of rewards and penalties will be strictly implemented to maintain administrative discipline
The mayor described District 19 as one of the progressive districts and underscored the importance of preventing non-standard constructions while ensuring full compliance with urban regulations and guidelines.
He further highlighted several priorities for improving urban services, including the construction of secondary roads, effective waste management, expansion of green spaces, proper collection of municipal revenues, and the strengthening of urban order. The Mayor assigned specific responsibilities to the relevant departments and urged efficient implementation to enhance the district’s overall condition and boost public satisfaction.
