Kabul Municipality officials have implemented an operational urban order plan in several areas of District 15, including the Khwaja Baghra Bridge, Mirza Abdul Qadir Bydil (Qasaba) Road, and nearby marketplaces, clearing these zones of urban disorder and illegal structures.
According to Atiqullah, Head of Market Regulation at Kabul Municipality, the operation was carried out after multiple warnings to shopkeepers. The campaign targeted illegal extensions in front of shops, obstructions on sidewalks, unauthorized establishments, and other urban violations.
To uphold the rule of law and restore urban order, Kabul Municipality continues to enforce similar initiatives across various districts, emphasizing that roads and sidewalks are public property and that no individual or entity has the right to use them for personal benefit.
At the same time, violators were warned not to block roads or pedestrian walkways through their activities, while street vendors were urged to avoid contributing to environmental issues and traffic congestion.
