Concrete paving of two secondary roads, located in the 6th and 20th sections of District 4, has been completed and officially inaugurated for public use in the presence of Engineer Mirurrahman Naseri, Head of the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management of Kabul Municipality; Sayed Ahmad Shah Afzali, Deputy of District 4; as well as local elders and residents.

Engineer Naseri stated that the aim of implementing these projects is to create a healthier urban environment and improve access to transportation infrastructure. He added that the road behind the Sarsabzi Intersection in the 6th section measures 755 meters in length and 5 meters in width, while the secondary road in Shahr-e Ara, related to the 20th section, spans 500 meters in length and 5.5 meters in width. Both projects, including the construction of drainage systems, were completed by Kabul Municipality in cooperation with UNOPS, at a total cost of 15.5 million Afghanis over a four-month period.

He further mentioned that around 150 people were employed daily during the implementation of the project. Previously, residents had faced major environmental challenges due to the poor condition of these roads. Local residents expressed their satisfaction with the projects and assured their cooperation with Kabul Municipality in maintaining these roads.
