The final asphalt layer on the right side of the second section of Khair Khana Kotal Road has begun, with Kabul Municipality working to finish the asphalt as soon as possible and open the road to traffic. The final asphalt layer on the left side of the road was completed and opened to traffic a few days ago, receiving positive feedback from residents. The second section of Khair Khana Kotal Road spans 2,520 meters from the upper part of Kotal to Bostan Road, with a width of 60 meters across two lanes. As one of Kabul’s key transit routes, the project includes drainage systems, pedestrian walkways, planters, installation of streetlights, road markings, and other standard road features. Upon completion, residents will benefit from improved transportation access, and traffic congestion in the Khair Khana Kotal area is expected to be significantly reduced
