Construction work is progressing on three streets in the Itifaq area, located in the 24th section of District 12, with concrete paving scheduled to begin soon. The project spans a total length of 1,230 meters and a width of 5 meters and includes the construction of drainage systems. Currently, 65 percent of the work has been completed, and efforts are underway to finalize it before the onset of winter. Upon completion, the project will help address major transportation and environmental challenges faced by local residents. This initiative is being implemented by the Kabul Municipality with support from UNOPS, aiming to create employment opportunities for residents and resolve long-standing urban issues
