Following laboratory testing of construction materials, the second (final) layer of asphalt has been applied on Badam Bagh Road, extending from Karte Parwan Phase Two to Sarai Shamali.
The road, measuring a total of 3,289 meters in length and 20 to 30 meters in width, previously had the first layer of asphalt completed on a 2,500-meter section. Construction work on the remaining section is ongoing to prepare it for asphalt as well.
The project includes the construction of drainage ditches, pedestrian pathways, flowerbeds, installation of streetlights, road markings, and other standard features of a modern road.
Upon completion, the road is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion at Baraki Intersection, Sarai Shamali, Tahia Maskan, Parwan Seh, and surrounding areas.
