Work has commenced to remove existing obstacles in preparation for the construction and expansion of the road from Pul-e Surkh to Alauddin Three-Way in District 6, with the cooperation of property owners. According to Kabul Municipality’s Expropriation Directorate, 110 properties along this road are expropriated. Owners will be provided with alternative rights in accordance with the law and regulations. Based on designs from the Urban Infrastructure Directorate, the road will extend 1,930 meters in length and 30 meters in width. Once obstacles are cleared, the road is planned to be constructed fundamentally and according to standards within one year. The project is expected to offer convenience to residents of Karte Seh and reduce traffic congestion on nearby roads. It also holds significant importance for economic growth and the transformation of unplanned areas into planned urban spaces. Community support in implementing infrastructure projects contributes to broader urban development and expansion
