Preliminary work on the construction and expansion of the road from Dehbori’s Shaheed Intersection to the University and Silo Road in District 3 has begun. The initial phase involves clearing and leveling obstacles along the route.
The road holds particular importance for enhancing transportation access for residents of the surrounding areas, prompting steps toward its expansion.
According to officials, 72 properties along the road fall under expropriation, and owners will receive alternative rights in accordance with the law and relevant procedures.
Based on the design prepared by the Urban Infrastructure Directorate of Kabul Municipality, the road will extend 1,910 meters with widths of 40 and 20 meters. It is planned to be fully built within one year. Along with its development, the project is expected to enhance Kabul’s transportation infrastructure and provide residents with improved mobility and convenience.
