In compliance with UNOPS, Kabul Municipality is rapidly carrying out concrete work on a sub-road near Noman bin Sabit Madrasa in the 34th Section of District 21. The road is expected to be completed and opened for public use soon.
According to the Programs and Projects Management Directorate of Kabul Municipality, the road measures 837 meters in length and 6.4 meters in width and is currently under construction, including the installation of a drainage system.
Once completed, the project is expected to alleviate transportation and environmental challenges for local residents. The project has also created employment opportunities for a number of citizens.
