Road construction work is ongoing from the Bini Hisar area to Stanikzai Intersection in District 8, including the development of main sections, culverts, and flowerbeds.
Another section of the road is expected to be readied for asphalt paving soon, and asphalt work will be carried out depending on weather conditions.
The road, with a total length of 1,655 meters and a width of 40 meters, has been designed to include a drainage system, sidewalks, flowerbeds, bicycle lanes, culverts, a lighting system, road markings, and other standard road features. Previously, an 800-meter section of the road had already been asphalted.
Engineers from Kabul Municipality’s Programs and Projects Management Directorate are carrying out continuous technical and quality supervision of the project.
It is also noted that construction work on this road from Stanikzai Intersection to Bagrami is ongoing, and asphalt paving will begin after the completion of foundational works.
Once these projects are completed, the Kabul–Logar Road will be connected to the Bagrami Road and will provide residents with improved transportation facilities.
