In District 15, road marking works on the new connecting road from Khwaja Bughra roundabout to Qasabah have been completed. The project included continuous and dashed lines, pedestrian corridors, and traffic signs.
Road markings not only improve urban aesthetics but also play a key role in organizing traffic flow. The road construction is now in its final stages and is expected to be officially opened for public use soon.
Kabul Municipality urges all citizens to avoid driving over the newly painted lines to help maintain their clarity.
The new connecting road stretches 675 meters in length and 30 meters in width, with 435 meters paved with asphalt and 240 meters constructed in concrete. The project also included drainage, a small bridge, sidewalks, flowerbeds, streetlights, and other standard road features.
According to the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management of Kabul Municipality, the project, which began earlier this year, will soon be fully completed and opened for use.
Once completed, it will provide significant transportation convenience for residents of Khwaja Bughra and Qasabah and help reduce traffic congestion on nearby roads.
