
Kabul Mayor, Mawlawi Abdul Rashid, was honored by the leadership of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment for his valuable services and effective management in implementing the urban master plan, improving municipal services, promoting standard construction, enhancing city aesthetics, creating job opportunities, and supporting the private sector.
During the appreciation ceremony, Sayed Karim Hashimi, Director of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, along with board members, expressed gratitude for the activities of Kabul Municipality and pledged to expand their support for the city’s development plans and economic growth.
At the event, the mayor presented his upcoming programs and plans, noting that Kabul Municipality intends to develop several commercial markets to international standards with the support of the domestic private sector, aiming to foster sustainable economic growth and attract investments in the city.
The mayor emphasized that the municipality will also provide necessary facilities to support the private sector and encourage investment.
He highlighted the principle of balanced development, described himself as a servant of the people, and highlighted that citizen support and institutional cooperation are crucial for the success of development plans and the sustainable growth of Kabul.
