Construction work on seven sub-roads is ongoing in Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Mina (Township) and the Shirpur area of District 10, being implemented by Kabul Municipality with winter conditions taken into consideration.
The road project, with a total length of 5,300 meters and a width of 12 meters, covers the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Seventh, and Thirteenth roads. According to officials, these roads will be constructed as stone-paved.
Alongside road and drainage works, the project also includes the construction of sidewalks totaling 10,600 meters in length, with widths of 2 and 2.5 meters. Under the plan, all works are scheduled to be fundamentally completed within eight months.
Once completed, the project is expected to provide notable transportation convenience for residents of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Mina and the Shirpur area.
It is noted that the project plays a key role in distributing traffic flow and improving access to transportation infrastructure.
