Kabul Municipality has initiated preliminary works for the construction of the remaining section of Padula Road, extending from Khushal Khan Second High School to the third Padula project and continuing along the Kabul–Logar Road to the Sang Nawishta area.
According to the design prepared by Kabul Municipality’s Urban Infrastructure Directorate, the section from Khushal Khan Second High School to the third Padula project, located in Districts 7 and 20, is 480 meters long and 40 meters wide. The continuation of the road toward Sang Nawishta measures 3,300 meters in length and 15.3 meters in width. Following the removal of obstacles, the project is expected to be fundamentally completed within one year.
Along the route, 253 properties are subject to expropriation, and in line with the Expropriation Law, property owners will be granted alternative rights.
Once completed, the road is expected to significantly improve transportation access for residents of the Padula area, support economic growth, and connect Chehelston Road with the Kabul–Logar Road.
