Construction work is ongoing on a connecting canal extending from 15th Street of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Mina to the Ajmeer Canal, with a total length of 2,700 meters and widths ranging from 80 centimeters to 1.4 meters. Efforts are underway to complete the project within the next three months.
The project also includes a road providing access to Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Hospital, measuring 391 meters in length and 30 meters in width. Asphalt works on this road were completed earlier, and it has been equipped with sidewalks, flowerbeds, a drainage system, and lighting.
Previously, the lack of a canal in the area caused water to overflow onto the roads, creating numerous difficulties for residents. With the implementation of this project, these problems are expected to be resolved in a fundamental manner.
