Preliminary works have begun for the construction and expansion of the road from Dehbori’s Shaheed Intersection to the University and Silo Road in District 3, including excavation, soil transfer, and the clearance of existing obstacles.
A total of 72 properties along the route are subject to expropriation, and their owners will be provided with alternative rights in accordance with the law and relevant procedures.
According to the new design, the road will extend 1,910 meters in length with widths of 40 and 20 meters, and the project is planned to be completed to standard specifications within one year.
Once completed, the project will contribute to the expansion of Kabul’s transportation infrastructure and provide residents of surrounding areas with improved access and smoother mobility.
