Foundational works on the third section of Khair Khana Kotal Road, implemented by Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Works Maintenance and Monitoring, are currently in progress. These activities include excavation, soil transfer, and leveling.
The road runs along the right side from the Sarai Shamali area to the upper section of the Kotal and measures 3,647 meters in length and 27 meters in width. It has been designed with retaining walls and all standard road features.
Earlier, after the completion of foundational works, asphalt paving was carried out on a 1,800-meter section of the road with a width of 12 meters.
As one of Kabul city’s key economic corridors, Kabul Municipality is working to complete this project within the specified timeframe while ensuring high construction standards.
