Construction on the Remaining Section of the First Phase of the Kabul–Logar Road Continues

Construction activities on the remaining section of the first phase of the Kabul–Logar Road are ongoing, aimed at preparing this vital route for asphalt paving in the spring of next year.
According to Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Programs and Projects Management, four kilometers of the road have already been asphalted across three lanes, while work on the remaining sections is currently advancing at a rapid pace.
The initial phase of the project extends from the Nejat Monument to the Charkh-e Ab area, covering a total length of seven kilometers with a width of 60 meters. The project includes the construction of the Mastan Canal, pedestrian sidewalks, flowerbeds, culverts, installation of street lighting, and road markings.
Kabul Municipality is striving to complete this important project within the designated timeframe and in accordance with high quality standards.
The Kabul–Logar Road project is regarded as one of the major infrastructure developments in the southern zone of Kabul city, and upon completion, it is expected to significantly ease transit for residents and support economic growth in the surrounding areas.
