Construction of a New Road from Padula to Sang-e Nawishta Continues

The construction of the remaining sections of the Padula Road, beginning from the western side of Khushal Khan Second High School, passing through the Padula Third Project, and extending along the Kabul–Logar Road to Sang-e Nawishta, is moving forward in a well-organized manner.
At present, excavation, soil transport, leveling, and the clearing of obstacles are actively underway as part of the project.
According to the plan, the section of the road within Districts 7 and 20 stretches 480 meters in length with a width of 40 meters from the western side of Khushal Khan Second High School to the Padula Third Project. From the Padula Third Project to Sang-e Nawishta, the road extends 3,300 meters with a width of 15.3 meters. The project is planned to be completed to standard specifications within one year.
As part of the process, 253 properties have been expropriated, and their owners will be granted alternative rights in accordance with the expropriation law.
Once completed, the road will ease transit for residents of the Padula area, while also supporting economic growth and social development in the region. It will hold particular importance for commuters traveling from Chehelston toward the Kabul–Logar Road.
The execution of this essential project is regarded as a significant step toward strengthening Kabul’s transportation network and improving the overall quality of life for city residents.
