Stone paving work has commenced on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 13th roads in the Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan and Shirpur areas of District 10.
The project covers roads with a combined length of 5,300 meters and a width of 12 meters, and construction is currently underway in line with approved technical standards.
In addition to stone paving, the project includes the construction of drainage system and sidewalks. According to the plan, all works are expected to be completed within the coming nine months.
Once completed, the project will provide a range of urban and social facilities for residents of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan township and the Shirpur area, while also contributing to improved traffic organization and the development of transit infrastructure.
It is noteworthy that stone-paved roads, besides their strength and long-term durability, also play an effective role in supporting and strengthening underground water resources.
