With the support of Kabul Municipality and the assistance of UNOPS, the construction of a recreational park in the 18th section of District 16 has been completed.
Built over an area of 8,000 square meters, the park is equipped with a drainage system, boundary wall, entrance and exit gates, pedestrian walkways, and a water reservoir. The project also included a well, grass coverage, planting of saplings and ornamental plants, as well as the installation of benches and waste bins.
With the completion of this park, residents of District 16 will benefit from access to a healthy and suitable recreational space, while the general appearance of the area has also been improved.
Kabul Municipality has reaffirmed its commitment to establishing a green, clean, and healthy environment by implementing similar development projects across the city.
