As part of efforts to strengthen urban infrastructure and ease traffic congestion, construction and expansion works on the road from Joi Sheer to Pul-e Artel are currently in progress, with preparations underway to make the route ready for asphalt paving by the spring of next year.
The road measures 860 meters in length and 45 meters in width and has been designed to include a 273-meter canal, a 95-meter retaining wall, drainage systems, pedestrian walkways, street lighting, and road markings. Technical and quality supervision of the project is being carried out on an ongoing basis by engineers from the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management.
Once the project is completed, it is expected to reduce traffic congestion in central areas of the city and provide residents with improved accessibility and smoother transportation.
