Basic construction work on the new connecting road from Karte Naw to the Qala-e Zaman Khan main road, located in Districts 8 and 16, is currently in progress. If weather conditions remain favorable, the road will be prepared for asphalt paving.
Planned in accordance with urban standards, the road measures 3,070 meters in length and 30 meters in width and includes sidewalks, drainage systems, bicycle lanes, street lighting, and road markings.
Once completed, the project will link Karte Naw Road with the Kabul–Jalalabad Road and will greatly improve ease of movement and transportation convenience for city residents.
