Construction work on the second section of Gull Bagh Road, initiated earlier this year by Kabul Municipality, has progressed significantly, with asphalting planned once weather conditions are favorable.
The road stretches 2,396 meters in length and 33 meters in width, running from Faisal Township to the Gull Bagh Bridge. The project includes a 24-meter-long culvert measuring 1.2 meters in width, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, street lighting, road markings, and other standard road features.
Considered one of Kabul’s key economic corridors, the completion of this road is expected to play a vital role in connecting the southern and western parts of the city, enhancing transport infrastructure, and alleviating traffic congestion.
