
The second phase of the urban redevelopment project in the 500-Families area of District 15 has achieved 90 percent progress, and construction activities are continuing in an organized manner.
Implemented over an area of 1,234 square meters, the project includes the construction of two residential blocks with eight and twelve floors. Under the plan, 76 residential apartments have been designed along with commercial shops and large retail spaces.
The project also features green spaces, parking areas, pedestrian walkways, an electricity tower, sewage treatment and central heating systems, as well as the construction of a guard room.
Kabul Municipality aims to promote sustainable urban development by adopting modern approaches such as land organization and urban redevelopment, and plans to design and implement similar projects in other parts of the city to support balanced growth and provide suitable housing.
