
Construction and expansion work on the road from Joi Sheer to Pul-e Artal, which had been temporarily suspended due to cold weather, has now resumed.
The project is designed with a length of 860 meters and a width of 45 meters. It includes the construction of a 273-meter canal, a 95-meter retaining wall, drainage channels, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, installation of street lighting, and road markings.
In addition, Kabul Municipality plans to expand Asmayee Road from the Zirzamini area to Shah Du Shamshira. This section measures 600 meters in length and 45 meters in width and is part of broader efforts to strengthen the city’s transportation infrastructure.
The construction and expansion of these roads will not only facilitate transportation for residents but also create opportunities for economic growth in central areas of the city.
According to available information, the project has so far achieved approximately 40 percent progress.
