Construction work is in progress on a new connecting road from Karte Naw to the main Qala-e Zaman Khan Road within Districts 8 and 16, and some sections are scheduled to be asphalted soon.
The road measures 3,070 meters in length and 30 meters in width. It has been designed in accordance with urban standards and includes pedestrian walkways, drainage channels, bicycle lanes, street lighting, and road markings.
Upon completion, Karte Naw Road will be connected to the Kabul–Jalalabad Road, providing improved transportation facilities and greater convenience for residents.
