Fundamental construction works on the third section of Gull Bagh Road are currently underway, and efforts are being made to prepare certain sections for asphalting.
This section of the road spans 5,314 meters in length and 33 meters in width, stretching from Gull Bagh Bridge to the Chehel Dokhtaran area. The project includes the construction of 14,000 cubic meters of retaining walls, drainage channels, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, street lighting, road markings, and other components of a standard road.
Gull Bagh Road is regarded as one of Kabul city’s key economic corridors, linking the western part of the city to the southern areas. Once completed, it is expected to play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion and improving transportation flow.
