Fundamental construction works on the road from Stanikzai Intersection to Bagrami in District 8 are ongoing in line with technical and engineering standards.
The road measures 2,530 meters in length and 40 meters in width. So far, one lane has been asphalted over one kilometer, while foundational works on the remaining sections are in progress to prepare them for paving.
The project includes the construction of drainage channels, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, green areas, bicycle lanes, and culverts, along with the installation of street lighting and other components of a standard road.
Once completed, the road will connect the Kabul–Logar Road to the Kabul–Jalalabad Road and is expected to create opportunities for economic growth in the surrounding areas.
