
Construction and expansion work on the old road of Paghman in District 14, which had been suspended due to cold weather, has resumed by the Work Maintenance and Monitoring Directorate of Kabul Municipality.
The road extends from Qargha Dam to Taq-e Zafar with a length of 9,153 meters and a width of 7 meters, of which 5,800 meters had been asphalted before the onset of winter. Currently, fundamental works on the remaining 653 meters are underway to prepare it for paving.
The project also includes the construction of retaining walls and 16 culverts measuring 9 and 12 meters in length and 2 and 4 meters in width.
With the completion of this road, transportation facilities will be significantly improved for residents of Paghman recreational areas and visitors.
