Construction work on a new connecting road from Karte Naw to the main Qala-e Zaman Khan Road within Districts 8 and 16 is currently underway and will soon be prepared for asphalting.
The road measures 3,070 meters in length and 30 meters in width. It has been designed in accordance with urban standards and includes pedestrian walkways, drainage channels, bicycle lanes, street lighting, and road markings.
Upon completion, Karte Naw Road will be connected to the Kabul–Jalalabad Road, providing improved transportation facilities for residents and contributing to the overall development of Kabul city’s transportation infrastructure.
