Fundamental construction and expansion works on the road from Pul-e-Surkh to Alauddin Intersection in District 6 are currently underway by Kabul Municipality. Efforts are being made to complete the project within the current year and hand it over for public use.
The road measures 1,930 meters in length and 30 meters in width, which has been designed to include drainage channels, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, and road markings.
With the completion of this road, transportation facilities will be improved for residents of the Karte Seh area, while traffic congestion on nearby roads will also be reduced.
The project is also significant in promoting economic growth and helping transform unplanned areas into more organized and developed zones.
