Construction and expansion works on the road from Joi Shir to Pul-e-Artal are progressing well, and efforts are underway to complete the project within the next four months and hand it over for public use.
The road measures 860 meters in length and 45 meters in width. It has been designed to include a 273-meter canal, a 95-meter retaining wall, drainage channels, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, and other standard components.
Kabul Municipality also plans to initiate construction of several new roads soon as part of its efforts to expand transportation infrastructure, and residents are encouraged to cooperate in the implementation of these projects.
In addition, the expansion of the road from Farhang Intersection (Zirzamini) to Shah Do Shamshira Intersection, measuring 600 meters in length and 45 meters in width, is also among the municipality’s priorities, and work on it is expected to begin soon.
It is worth noting that the construction and expansion of roads in congested areas not only facilitate transportation but also contribute to the economic growth of the surrounding areas.
