The project is regarded as a key infrastructure initiative intended to enhance traffic management and provide improved transportation facilities.
The road is being developed with a total length of 1,910 meters and a width of 40 and 20 meters, and it includes pedestrian pathways, drainage systems, flowerbeds, street lighting, and road markings.
Officials said that, in accordance with the revised design of the city’s road network plan, the expansion is being carried out to strengthen transportation infrastructure and ease mobility.
Upon completion, the road is expected to offer substantial transportation benefits to residents and contribute to a more balanced distribution of traffic across nearby routes.
