Construction of the road from Stanikzai Intersection to Bagrami in District 8 has reached 60 percent completion and is expected to be finalized within the next five months, after which it will be opened for public use.
The road, measuring 2,530 meters in length and 40 meters in width, has achieved one kilometer of a single lane asphalted, while work on the remaining sections is still in progress.
The project includes the development of drainage channels, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, green areas, bicycle lanes, and culverts, along with the installation of street lighting and road markings.
Upon completion, the road will link the Kabul–Logar Road with the Kabul–Jalalabad Road and is expected to support the economic growth of nearby areas.
