Construction work on the third phase of Khair Khana Kotal Road is advancing at a fast pace, implemented by the Directorate of Work Maintenance and Monitoring of Kabul Municipality.
The road, which is 3,647 meters long and 27 meters wide, extends from the Sarai Shomali area toward the right side, and preparations are ongoing to prepare the remaining sections for asphalt paving.
The project includes drainage systems, retaining walls, five culverts with lengths of 27 and 83 meters and widths of 1.5 and 3.6 meters, as well as flowerbeds, road markings, and lighting installations.
Khair Khana Kotal Road is regarded as one of the key economic corridors in northern Kabul, playing a significant role in facilitating transportation and improving traffic distribution.
