
Construction work on the second main Gull Bagh Bridge, located between Districts 7 and 20 over the Kabul River, is progressing rapidly under the supervision of the Directorate of Work Maintenance and Monitoring of Kabul Municipality. The project is expected to be completed and handed over for public use within the next three months.
According to officials, the bridge is being constructed to improve transportation for residents. It will measure 26 meters in length and 22 meters in width and will be supported by 40 piles.
Officials highlighted that bridge construction plays an important role in regulating traffic flow, expanding transportation networks, and improving accessibility for commuters.
It was also noted that the project has so far reached 60 percent completion.
