
A tree-planting campaign was conducted in District 7 with the participation of Kabul Municipality officials, religious scholars, community representatives, and youth.
During a gathering held on the occasion, Mohammad Yasin Amin, Head of Public Awareness at the Directorate of Publications and Public Awareness, Abdul Shakoor Zaheen, Head of Urban Services for District 7, and Rahmatullah Karimi, Chairman of the District’s Community Representatives Council, spoke on the importance of saplings and green spaces. They highlighted the significance of greenery in human life and noted that the current planting season presents a valuable opportunity for planting and proper maintenance.
It was also noted that, to expand green areas in District 7, residents have contributed a number of saplings. In addition, the Directorate of Greenery is planting thousands of saplings across the district and will ensure their ongoing maintenance.
