Construction work on the fourth phase of Gull Bagh Road, extending from the Chehel Dokhtaran area to the Kabul–Logar Road in District 20, is progressing rapidly and has reached 65 percent completion. Efforts are underway to complete the project and open it for public use within the current year.
The fourth phase of Gull Bagh Road measures 2,422 meters in length and 33 meters in width and includes drainage systems, sidewalks, green spaces, culverts, lighting installations, and other standard road components.
Gull Bagh Road extends more than 12 kilometers from Darulaman Palace to the Kabul–Logar Highway and has been designed in four phases. The route connects the western part of Kabul with the southern areas of the city.
Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly improve transportation facilities and contribute to the expansion of Kabul’s transport infrastructure.
Kabul Municipality has reaffirmed its commitment to completing the road during the current year.
