Asphalt paving on Badam Bagh Road has entered its final stage, and this major infrastructure project is expected to be completed and opened to public traffic in the near future.
The road, which extends from the second section of Karte Parwan to Sarai Shamali, has now reached more than 90 percent overall completion.
Badam Bagh Road has a total length of 3,288 meters and widths ranging from 20 to 30 meters. Asphalt paving on most sections of the road was completed last year, with only the second layer of asphalt on an 800-meter section remaining, which is currently in progress.
The project includes the construction of drainage channels, sidewalks, flowerbeds, road markings, and other standard road features.
The construction of Badam Bagh Road has long been a demand of local residents and is expected to play an important role in reducing traffic congestion at Baraki Intersection while improving transportation access for the public.
In addition, completion of the road is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion on routes serving the Sarai Shamali, Tahia Maskan, Parwan Seh, and surrounding areas.
