
Kabul Municipality has begun asphalt paving on the new connecting road extending from Baraki Road to the Kolola Pushta area in District 4.
The paving work is being carried out in accordance with all technical and engineering standards following laboratory testing and quality verification of the construction materials.
Kabul Municipality officials stated that efforts are underway to complete the project within a short period and open the road to traffic.
The road has been designed as an alternative route to Baraki Intersection and spans 655 meters in length with a width of 20 meters. The project includes the construction of retaining walls, drainage canals, sidewalks, the installation of street lighting, and road markings.
The project is being implemented under the continuous technical and engineering supervision of engineers from Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Programs and Projects Management to ensure compliance with quality and engineering standards.
