
Construction of the new road from Munshi Mir Ghulam Township to the Kabul–Parwan Highway in District 17 is progressing steadily.
The project involves the construction of a standard road measuring 4,049 meters in length and 30 meters in width and is scheduled to be completed within 14 months in accordance with approved engineering specifications.
The construction of this road is particularly important for northern Kabul and is expected to play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion at Khair Khana Kotal while improving transportation access for residents.
The project also includes the construction of drainage channels, sidewalks, retaining walls, and culverts, as well as the installation of street lighting, road markings, and other standard road features.
