Construction work on the Hazara Baghal connecting road, extending from 315 area to Munshi Mir Ghulam Township in Districts 11 and 17, is progressing significantly.
The 2,635-meter-long and 30-meter-wide project is regarded one of the major infrastructure projects in the northern zone of Kabul. It also includes the construction of drainage channels, sidewalks, retaining walls, and culverts, along with the installation of streetlights and road markings.
As the road passes through a mountainous area, construction activities have been expanded, and work is progressing systematically. The project is expected to be completed within the next year, God willing. Once completed, it will help address existing transportation challenges in the northern parts of the city and create opportunities for the expansion of economic activities in Districts 17 and 11.
In addition to providing a new and standard route, the construction of this road is regarded as an important step toward expanding Kabul’s northern transportation network and facilitating residents’ movement.
