Kabul Municipality is making rapid progress on the construction of the second section of the Kabul–Jalalabad Road, extending from the Paktiakot area to Tangi Gharo. The project is scheduled to be completed and opened to the public within the next 11 months, God willing.
This section of the road is 10,293 meters long and 60 meters wide. It includes drainage channels, sidewalks, flowerbeds, bicycle lanes, streetlights, and road markings, and is being constructed in accordance with standard specifications.
Once completed, the road will provide residents with improved transportation facilities and create opportunities for the expansion of economic activities.
