_*Kabul Municipality Leadership Emphasizes Quality and Timely Implementation of Infrastructure Projects

Kabul Municipality’s Deputy Mayor for Urban Services, Mawlawi Mohammad Khalid Sajistani, inspected the progress of several infrastructure projects and production activities of Kabul Municipality, emphasizing the quality and timely implementation of the works, as well as compliance with technical standards.
He inspected the construction work on Hassan Khan Bridge over the Kabul River along the Deh Dana–Chehelston Road, the remaining asphalt paving works of the first phase of the Kabul–Logar Road, and the stone production factory operated under the Directorate of Works Maintenance and Monitoring of Kabul Municipality in the Sang-e-Nawishta area. He also closely assessed the progress of the ongoing works.
During his inspection of the projects, the Deputy Mayor for Urban Services issued necessary instructions to project officials and stressed the need to accelerate the work, use high-quality construction materials, and comply with technical standards throughout all aspects of the projects.
He also emphasized providing the necessary equipment and facilities for the projects and removing existing obstacles. He instructed officials to ensure that the projects are completed with high quality and within the specified timeframe.
Mr. Sajistani said that the projects must be implemented under precise technical and professional supervision, with serious attention given to the quality of work in all areas. He highlighted that construction materials must be tested in laboratories before being used.
The Deputy Mayor for Urban Services also assessed the production capacity of the stone production factory and provided necessary guidance aimed at increasing production capacity, improving product quality, and enhancing the overall work process.
The leadership of Kabul Municipality has consistently emphasized that maintaining quality, accelerating implementation, and observing technical principles in the construction of roads and other public-benefit projects are among its key priorities, with the projects being continuously monitored.
It is worth noting that Kabul Municipality is working to accelerate the implementation of infrastructure projects so that several public-benefit and infrastructure projects can be completed and put into operation during the current year.
