Construction work is underway on a road and a major canal extending from Bini Hissar area to the Shiwaki Bridge along Kabul–Logar Road in District 8. Efforts are underway to complete the project and open it to the public before the onset of winter, God willing.
The project includes the construction of a 3,085-meter-long road with a width ranging from 12 to 15 meters, a major canal measuring 2,628 meters in length, 1.2 to 3 meters in width, and 1.5 to 3.5 meters in depth, as well as a drainage channel, 26 culverts, sidewalks, and flowerbeds.
Once completed, the project will improve surface water management, help reduce environmental problems, and facilitate transportation for residents in the area.
