Construction of the remaining foundational sections of the road extending from Stanikzai Intersection to Bagrami in District 8 is underway, with asphalt paving scheduled to be carried out within the next month.
The road is designed to be 2,530 meters long and 40 meters wide. So far, approximately one kilometer of the road has been asphalted.
Engineers from Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Programs and Projects Management are providing technical and professional supervision throughout all stages of the project to ensure quality construction and timely completion.
Once completed, the project will improve transportation for residents of the Stanikzai and Bagrami areas and help address environmental and traffic-related challenges in the area.
The project also includes the construction of drainage channels, sidewalks, and flowerbeds, as well as the installation of bicycle lanes, streetlights, and road markings.
